weep not, ming, you also have your mars there in the first house, so maybe that energy is part of your virgo expression. Saturn in that first house as well may help put a damper on your Virgo energy or may somehow constrict it...but take my words with a grain of salt, as I am not at all well versed in reading charts.

and I wonder what your pluto right on the edge of your 12th house may mean....hmm. Interesting.

no no, nothing like a fluffy pussycat...I am pretty sure mars in the 1st house has a strong expression. I am thinking it may encourage a more direct way of expressing yourself, rather than say a coy manner.

But there is so much going on in a chart that just these little bits I am saying may be meaningless in comparison to other things that may be going on...like aspects, and how different placements interact with one another in your chart. Note all of the little triangle symbols and red square symbols and all of that, they show the aspects....It is so complicated. But the more you read, and the more you learn about it all, the more the picture unfolds. I have been trying to understand mine for over a year now.

Just checking out threads in this forum has helped immensely, I'd start with whatever seems most interesting in your chart, and just read as much about that particualr planet or house or placement as I could find. With mine, I was most curious to understand my sun being in the 12th house, so I started there, and it just led me to all sorts of other intersting pieces of information.

You could google virgo ascendant, and see what comes up. Or saturn in the 1st house.....

thought I'd mention here, for anyone interested in a different way to see Virgo, Isthmus nekoi posted some very interesting thoughts on Virgo, in her blog, odivinorum, it can be accessed through her profile.

The Virgo entry is from march 18, 2006. I'd post what she wrote here, but am not sure if this is okay,so instead decided to give intructions about how to find it. Check it out, it may speak a lot to you, ming.....and anyone else who is Virgo....

LOL!!!(((mingbop)))....don't be so hard on the old Virgos...speaking as a Virgo Moon in the 4th, with 2 outer planets in Virgo...having married 2 Virgos; and with Mother having Venus and Mars in Virgo; and a Virgo uncle who has been a key figure in my life.... I have been through VIRGO HELL most of life!!!

From your chart, it looks like Virgo is a key energy in your life. My advice is to learn more about how this energy manifests in your own character....for good and bad. Virgo energy is fabulous in the organization and detailed work departments, and service to others; there is also a wonderful connection to domestic pets and the earth...gardening/farming....and even a deep sensuality...though one must overcome the hang-ups; yes, I know that is where most people disdain Virgo because the carpy criticisms and
pent -up-ness.
Such is life...we all have things to work on.

Sometimes the things we see in others we don't like, can be a reflection of things in ourselves we don't like.... but haven't dealt with yet.
