another newbie
hi - my name is Kristal and I've been lurking around this forum for a while. I've had an on-agan, off-again relationship with the tarot since my early teens; I would put it down and go on my way, only to find it again a few years later. part of my problem was probably that I wasn't trying very hard to learn how to read the cards and I gave up on it. since I keep coming back to the tarot, I think it's time that I buckle down and really get into it. I'm looking forward to following along with the study groups here.  I started out with the Rider-Waite at first, but had a hard time relating to the deck (I'm sure that's why I put the tarot down the first time around). eventually I moved on to the Morgan-Greer, and I've still got that deck. after poking around various places online, I fell in love with the Ancient Egyptian Tarot... and then found it, still in its shrink wrap, on ebay for an unbelievable price. that should be arriving sometime this week and I'm so excited! glad to be here! |
