i have just been reading through the mag and was astounded by an article by the assistant editor about crystal power and healing!

in the section about cleansing she has only indicated 1 method of doing it.......burying them in salt!

i cannot believe that she has only stated this method and none of the others, as salt is probably the worst method that i know of.

a lot of the stones that people use for healing are porous and the usage of salt can damage them beyond belief......

i can hear crystal users up and down the country screaming out at this woman at how stupid her article is! lol

an email is going to be on the way to the magazine presently......

I, too, get Prediction but although I've had this issue a short while I haven't been in a hurry to read the article properly although I have skimmed it. I didn't read the part about the cleansing of the crystals but I did notice that the part where the stones properties were described was very basic. A few years ago they did several articles on crystals that were very good (in fact nearly all their articles were) but since their re-design the overall quality and standard has gone down IMO. I've been reading it in the hopes things would improve as this used to be my favourite mag. Emailing them is a good idea as otherwise they will assume things are fine and won't improve things in the future.

yes i think i have to admit to preferring the old design which wasn't just aimed at women looking for the odd spooky story inbetween watching trisha and big brother. lol

have you read vision magazine?

it is getting extremely popular and the articles are very well written by experts in their field, and it tends to keep to a specific theme with each publication - this month's is about romany culture and features a few articles about them.

but i was just astounded that a magazine with a pedigree like it has should only explain one type of method......and the one that can do the most harm!

Yes, they do seem to have "dumbed down" what used to be a very thoughtful and insightful magazine, which is a great shame as there are already other publications that cover that area of the market.

Lol, I nearly mentioned Vision in my last post, I've been reading it since it started. It is a lovely magazine which I think is unique in its high crystal content.
