Prayer:
Oh forgive me, Mother Goddess for I did sin!
I fell prey to the King of gluttony (-->King of cups Druid craft reverse)
and all his treacherous kin.
I should be ashamed to turn away so soon and fast
from the most magnificent Tarot of the Druidcraft
Just yesterday night my undying love I professed
I did mean it; sincerely and not just in jest.......
But in Barrie I bought the Celtic Wisdom Tarot
That beautiful artwork
It's something to show!

And I lust for more Wisdom!
- teachings from the realm of the Celts
and when a bargain like this comes ($ Can 21.95)
in the shop of candles, books and bells
I can't help it but grab quickly
no matter the yells!!

Mirror
Nothing but a mirror
to me is the Tarot
Square pieces of paper,
the symbols they show
Then images dissolving
like sun melting snow.
Through the portal beneath
is where I will go
Towards visions and wisdom
that lies deep below....
Solutions to problems
and destiny's flow
Countless dancing shadows
who's friend who is foe?
Ancestral pathways
these Spirits do show
for me now to follow
to thrive and to grow.......

Oh I like this thread! Good talent guys!

I keep getting these images, or conversations in my head.(uh-huh). I have tried to turn them into poems. They seem to come from the cards, but I’m not sure who (which card) they belong to.

I think I know who this might be. Who do you think it should be?

I am the last to be seen in a room.
Like a hole in the ground,
I go unnoticed
Until you try to step over me.

Now I will startle you
And if you look
You will see
Not even the bottom.
I give you nothing.
Take nothing
And use it wisely.

Out the door and
with a slam...
entered, exited
that dear old man.

Who could figure,
who could know
what were his whereabouts
under the lantern and
upon the snow.

He leaps so lightly,
just like a kid
amid those sad haunted eyes...
Why go again?
Why wonder off?

But it's not in his manner
to linger so.
He told me of his fright,
in his younger days,
of love's foolish delight,
under a woman's gaze.

So off he took,
when she mistook,
and turned away.

Off to stand on foreign
lands,
didn't need so much strength,
just passing strangers to understand.

He never walks alone with
stars and moon
giving a conscious wave
and on to the next
much too soon.

Oh Tripple Goddess, Power of Three
cover my eyes
so I will not see!
So when next in town
I will not find
another Tarot
of the Arthurian kind....

I am afraid you did not listen to me!
I went to town an stooped down low
and bought real cheap the Runic Tarot...
And it was not all that I did find;
there also lurked an Oracle of the Celtic kind!
And second hand but new and cheap
-in shock high into the air I leaped
and grabbed the pack of Osho Zen
and dragged it all into my den.....

Now there is hail and frost and snow
all over central Ontario
while I sit over al this Tarot!!

Oh sacred Goddess before I go to bed
I better read through the de-enabling thread....
