Yes, you have to have Carlos in there!

And for Keith Richards to be alive and in pretty good shape - he was tempering his indulgences with something, he's the Temperance master, lol.

But despite his, erm, profligacy, Gene Symmons seems like a basically nice guy (when I saw him on that making-a-rock-band-out-of-posh-school-kids show). Trying to think of someone gorgeous but manipulative and nasty.

Maybe one of the rat pack - wasn't Frank Sinatra a bit of an S.O.B. ?

The Chariot: Charlton Heston

(I have only skimmed the names of others...so may be repeating....this is FUN!)

High Priestess: Oprah Winfrey

Wheel of Fortune: This is a tricky one???? Donald Trump (he's certainly been up and down on his luck?)

The Hanged Man: Howard Hughes

Hierophant: Judge Judy or Dr. Phil

The Star: Dakota Fanning

The World: Mother Teresa (ok..she's not a star, but she is a celebrity)

The Fool: Robin Williams (he has been living between boudaries all his life...LOL).

terri

Now I'll be awake, and jotting down names on a piece of paper at my bedside....grgghghgh...

The Lovers: John Lennon and Yoko

Or Steve McQueen. Or the guy from Vanishing Point (the real movie not that made-for-TV mess they did later).

I thought that one was very good.

Guess I'm a little warped, stella!!

I was on a manic roll when I chose those...don't know if I would come up with same ones now....I just love this whole idea though....Tony and I are movie buffs, so was afraid I would be a little out-dated....

If I updated the same cards, though.....

The Hermit: ????? Jeesh...who in our modern celeb world fits this??? They are all so...so....OUT THERE.

Maybe Anthony Hopkins...he crosses the old and the new ....Now that he is a U.S. citizen ...he still lives a very private life on the California Beaches...then there's the fava bean stuff as Hannibal.....all locked up in the cage and in the mask....

Judgment: Russell Crowe (well he could use some re-birthing, no? )

The Lovers: Brad and Angelina.....they have it all....choices, good and bad, temptations, sinners/saints....

Oh dear....I'm getting caught up in this again.

The Moon: Paris Hilton....wait, no...Nicole Richie...wait, no....

Catherine Zeta Jones...actually, she might be better as The Empress.

LOL....The Magician: Tom Cruise

The Devil: Colin Farrell

The Lovers: Viggo Mortensen and Diane Lane

terri

An OLD movie Tarot! Now THERE's an idea - Mae West, the Marx Brothers, the Three Stooges, William Powell & Myrna Loy, Marlene Dietrich, Jean Harlow...these people feel archetypal.

I don't think that Burt Reynolds will EVER reach archetypal status, lol.

Or maybe one of those recent shots of Britney. Now THAT was mean, lol.
