Mods please remove if this is inappropriate but i felt passionately about this and was hoping that some of our forum members can help us Light a Million Candles for ;

The innocent victims of Internet child abuse cannot speak for themselves.
But you can.
With your help, we can eradicate this evil trade.
We do not need your money.
We need you to light a candle of support www.lightamillioncandles.com
We're aiming to light at least One Million Candles by December 31, 2006.
This petition will be used to encourage governments, politicians, financial institutions, payment organisations, Internet service providers, technology companies and law enforcement agencies to eradicate the commercial viability of online child abuse.
They have the power to work together. You have the power to get them to take action.

Together, we can destroy the commercial viability of Internet child abuse sites that are destroying the lives of innocent children.

For those who think that you can't really do this because lighting a candle might mean giving them money..... nope! "Lighting a candle" just means you are just voicing your support for the idea that child porn shouldn't be allowed to thrive on the net. It is essentially filling out a petition.

You can do that, can't you?

(but will it make a difference? It really is worth trying until it works)

Hi. I decided to lite another candle, number 763490. I made sure I passed it onto everyone on my mail list (20 people about) Hopefully they all lit one & passed the message onto their friends.
