Sorry - this was split from the trading forum so may not make much sense so I am editing. We do have what we think is the last few Lasenics but we haven't really advertised them for ages - we find that they just sit on our online shop quietly and go gradually. I hadn't really planned to advertise them here but anyway it's my own fault for a thoughtless post in Trading (apologies!)

The status of the deck? The publisher has none and says they will not reprint (they printed 500 in the early 1990s and 500 more about five years ago). The only shop that we know of that has/had them sold us five - and said they would not sell us any more as they want to keep a couple in stock (fair enough - the last couple should go to local people really I think). So as far as we know that's it.

I want to keep two for ourselves (hmm, maybe three - I like the deck a lot) so I think we have about seven in all that we can sell as we had about four from last year.

We are both very interested in Lasenic - Alex in fact knows a lot more than me - but the headaches we've had over this deck are one reason I prefer not to advertise it much (initially the publisher asked us not to resell, so we never did - loooooong story. Then they decided it was okay. They are unusual and interesting people). I think this deck is one that just finds its own homes in its own time.

We have one other Czech deck that is even more rare - 50 only done as woodblock prints, and I think we have two or three (excluding our own two) - and that caused even more of a storm (in-joke for those who were around a year or so ago ). So that's off the shop for now. Maybe if we get a quiet period and I can face it...
