Best Oracle cards for life direction and relationships
Having recently split with my partner I have been learning tarot (only for about two weeks) and the cards seem to consistently tell me not to focus on trying to get back together with him. I do still love him and am finding it difficult to accept their decision I feel like I need some additional guidance and was wondering if anyone could recommend oracle decks for specific relationship questions? I would probably also benefit from a set for more general encouragement and comfort - I have been to Borders and looked at the decks on sale, but I feel quite overwhelmed with choice. A lot of them are sealed, and the artwork on some of the Doreen Virtue cards doesn't appeal to me much. (I prefer plainer, more graphical art). Thank you to all who can make some suggestions

Emm well as you said there are so many, ![]() I am a big doreen virtue fan, I Love her cards ,the pics on the cards are so graphic and the messages mean a lot also, but I also like Diana Cooper's Angles of light cards, they have no pictures, but just encouraging messages on life's directions etc, you should maybe try them. __________________ ღ♥*♥ღ♥*♥ღ♥*♥ღ♥*♥ღ♥*♥ღ♥* Love, Light & Angel Blessings ♥*♥ღ♥*♥ღ♥*♥ღ♥*♥ღ♥*♥ღ♥*♥ (¯`v´¯) `*.¸.*´ ¸.•´¸.•*¨) ¸.•*¨) (¸.•´ (¸.•´ .•´ ¸¸.•¨¯`•. ♥*♥ღ "Angels are speaking to all of us...some of us are just listening better. |

Hi cherries, have you checked out the Faeries Oracle by Brian Froud. They are beautiful and so very ALIVE. They are perfect for all type of questions and they really speak out even if you don't want to hear them.. This is the best oracle deck I have and I am very satisfied and happy with them.

cherries I hope you are Ok and find some comfort from your recent break up really soon, I love the Sabian Symbols - two free sites you can ask questions are http://www.sabiansymbols.com (go down to ask oracle a question) and http://sabiansymbols.astrologyweekly.com where there are several ways to ask questions... Lynda Hills book 360 degrees of wisdom is a must IF these symbols work for you. Can I offer you some advice and ask a few different questions more like what was I to learn about this relationship in my life, why leaving this relationship is good for me, what is the next stage in my life, how can I prepare for great things, as when we ask the same question say should I get back to gether with him/her the messages get swamped. I suppose what Im saying is ask really specific and unique questions. blessings to you MARINA __________________ Nothing in life is to be feared. It is only to be understood ~ Marie Curie |

thanks sweet irish angel. i think you advised me on crystals for healing after the split, over on kelle's forum. so hi and thanks again! thank you also a_shikhs and marina for replying to my question. i will definitely check out the faeries cards. it wouldn't have occurred to me to look for those. thanks also for the advice on being specific with my readings. i have been repeating myself quite a lot, or trying to twist my questions to be more enlightening - but the answers have been very consistent - and i guess i should accept them now. i got good results with the first website you suggested: "A sense of isolation, separation, abandonment, and bitterness. Sabotage by or of loved ones and family." i don't have much luck with online readings normally! i have been looking more into the virtue cards, and i think i know why i'm having trouble deciding; i guess i have never felt much connection with my girly/feminine side, so it's hard to relate to the women in the pictures. i have felt myself warm to the goddess cards since reading about them on the forum, and learning about the guidance they give, rather than being caught up in the imagery. (i guess i am just picky about the tarot decks i am drawn to, but maybe i can be less choosy about angel/goddess decks). i guess without having any experience of the decks, it's hard to know what they are good for. i would most likely want in-depth advice rather than a 'card a day' reading. i would also like to use them for clarification with tarot. does this narrow down my options at all? i am drawn to the cat wisdom cards, as i have two lovely little cats who have been with me through thick and thin! has anyone used these cards? they look simplistic, maybe overly so? i will try a forum search on those. |
