Thread ratings
Some time ago posters on one thread (I forget which, but thought it was the Sheridan Douglas new printing thread) were asked to rate it. Several of us said at that time that we didn't have a button to rate that thread, though we did for others, while others posting said it was there - and a mod said they would take it up with ATF's IT department.  . I wanted to rate a couple of threads today - one had a button to rate it and one didn't. Do some threads have the potential for rating and others not - or is there still a glitch ? Puzzled

I *think* it's a forum switch. Different forums have the switch on, and others have the switch off. I just looked really quickly. But that's just my un-techy opinion. |

Thread ratings are enabled in most forums including Chat (and now Tech Support), but only subscribers can rate threads. gregory, it's odd that you could rate some Chat threads but not others. Well - at least this one now shows up as ratable ! the one I had trouble with and complained about at the time (and so did Emily) was this one - which I would like to give 5 stars to, while you're passing ! I have just opened it - and no rate button. But others can see it and have rated it. (So they said at the time anyway - you will find posts about this in the thread. (ed: I think actually Sulis deleted them and said she would raise this with you))But there are several others..... and it isn't just me; and yes I have cleared my cache and tried other browsers. And as you know I am a subscriber, and tech literate and everything ! Another just this minute is here. And here.......... and here... I take it you don't want a complete list ? I am watching - well, a lot - and about half of them.... __________________ ~ ~ I probably shouldn't be here.
