Tree Sprite
I'm interested to know what folks make of this one - it's got me a bit puzzled. Unlike the 10 wands who strikes me as a woman totally in control, the girl on the 9 wands looks young, vulnerable & naive. My only thought is that she is the promised bride of a warrior away at war, and the wands behind are both the spoils of war that he has sent back to her, and looking at it now, a fence to protect and contain her. She is shielded from the outside world and waits for the return of her valiant lover to bring 'completion' to her life. Her life holds great promise, but it needs someone else to take it to the next step....
