Hung Up [ Universal Waite ]

I could not be conclusive if this is the proper forum to post this in, if it isnt I apologize in advance.

I have been working on my personal collaboration of tarot meanings; forming an organized book so to say. I was working with the pentacles when I noticed that on the Eight of Pentacles [ ] only the top pentacle is the only one that is hung.

I was just pondering the meaning of this, I am almost certain that this isnt a mistake.

If any one has any insight they should shed it. For I would adore to know the hidden meaning behind this.

The copies get this one wrong every time.

On the original 8 of Pentacles we can see differences
which are often missed by artists who make copies...
the workman is prettied up, and so are the Pentacles.

If you look at the worker, he is wearing a clergyman's
shirt front, the kind that tie in the back, and his pants
are red~ plus, what kind of workbench is an old stool?

Now look at the Pentacles, notice the black outlines...
and the sizes are all different, with crooked stars too.
The bottom right Pentacle even floats off the ground.
