Gebelin for Francophones!
Hey gang, Not sure where to post this but thought I should give a heads up for any french-speaking historian types (JMD? Pendu? Ross? LaLuna?). For any ATer who's looking for a copy of the "Monde Primitif" writings specifically related to Tarot, a 1983 edition of LE TAROT PAR COURT DE GEBELIN just turned up on eBay being sold from Annecy, France. I didn't even know this edition existed and found sno mention of it when I did a search. I haven't run across another copy before so I figure it's a rare enough occurance to warrant notice and mention. Scion __________________ Faustus: 'Tis magic, magic that hath ravished me... |

Thankyou Scion - I have a copy of DeGebelin's (and the C* de M*) in electronic version (in French), but had not seen this imprint with commentary by J.M. Lhote. It is hard to know its approximate worth, given that it may even be still in print... |
