From the LWB: A man reaches out toward the cups containing fulfillment, which float just beyond reach in a kind of force field. Imagination is often detached from reality, and fantasy almost always exceeds reality. The cat's head, like the cups, may or may not be an illusion. It may represent a daydream that could, with luck, hard work and perseverance, become a reality.
Meanings: fantasy, unrealistic attitudes, imagination, daydreams, foolish whims, wishful thinking, illusionary success.
To me it looks either like a magic trick, or 'what's in the box?' THe cups float in their own space, controlled by the figure who has conjured them up. Where is the prize? what will be in the other cups? Is anything real at all? Can we actually take anything that is in those cups and use it for ourself or is it just a dream? If we wish for something, will it appear?
Very reminiscent of the traditional RWS card, although there the items being dreamed about are clearer.
