Sound great to me, as for the details we'll work that out in PM, but I would like the post the date in here in case we have lurkers which seems to happen a lot with this thread. Beginning to wonder if we have the FBI and CIA watching us just because we have so many of them...

Paranoia much? Let's just leave the feds and spooks out of this.

It's all the natural charm and charisma we exude, I'm sure.

Paraniod? Me? Never! However do you really think we went to the Moon? (twisted sense of humor showing really)

It took several months to make the first Seattle meet a go - sometimes it takes a little while to get the interest up. Now we meet the last Thursday of every month (it was easier than picking dates).

Sometimes there are lots of us, and sometimes there are just 2 of us. That's all it takes to make a meet happen The only thing better than seeing ATers here is seeing them in person!

Good luck with getting your meets started!

Thank you, Valeria. I do still think there is more people then we think. But we are in the midwest, and most people still hide their reading for people and their families. I would like to have it a small group that can talk to everyone but still large enough to at least "pair" together to do readings. Reading face-to-face is probably one of the hardest things to do in tarot. If you had someone that you knew was as interested as you are to help strength your knowledge and understanding it makes you a little more comfortable.

Ah well it will happen if it is meant too!!!

Tabi, I have to disagree. Reading face-to-face is easy. Waiting days to get feedback online is hard.

But that's subjectivity for you.

Thanks for the kind words, Valeria! I certainly hope that sooner or later there will be more people to show an interest, though two getting together is better than one sitting at home and wondering wher all the other tarot enthusiasts are.

This is the Midwest, though, and a significant amount of people, as tabi says, have this weird block when it comes to tarot.

I've noticed, though, that the more direct one is about the cards, or other similar practices, the less others will perceive it as strange. Confidence goes a loooong way.

I believe you're the same one that called me paraniod to begin with dear....and you just hate the online thing because you're impatient.

Huh?

I never called you paranoid. I may have left it open, as to what I meant, but that only shows how you think.

And I'm plenty patient. I just choose to not exercise it all the time.

At least, I think that's how that excuse is is supposed to work.
