Not a real good choice for "personality and career" categories though. Very difficult.
ahhh...I like your way of thinking

I've been re-reading everyone's posts. Lots have gotten the Hanged Man. I bet that African Eve is hanging in some museum right now- or maybe it refers to her long time suspension in burial before being discovered?
Well, I'm off...

Funny, the Eve thing as I had thought of the "Mother goddess" Paleolithic figures specifically the Venus of Willendorf, but I am not sure if that one is known as sort of general knowledge world wide.

Time to draw a card, One card, this is her attitude: The lovers. SO, temptation and commitment, this lady was aware of the value of love.

Have to keep guessing I suppose.

I have steered away from mythical characters thinking they do not count... boy does that open up a can of worms.

I seriously hope she didn't decide to go on vac-k early on us.

Looking back through the cards also I don't see how everyone is getting this motherly vibe from her. Most of the cards are minors, more Pentacles then anything then split equally between the Swords and Cups. To me that speaks of someone who was more physical/material worried but also had problems with balancing out their emotional and intelligent side. Looking at the numbers of the cards it seems mostly that there was a lack of harmony. However it would be nice to know what centurty to start looking though....

Anything after the late 1800's (to today) is automatically thrown out because pretty much everyone is dated....well there is very few that don't have their birth/death dates. records.

Also, I did check with Wiki, they have no birth/death dates for the Virgin Mary. Again I don't get that type of feel after doing my reading though.

Celtic didn't limit us to any realm of reality or fiction, actually she left a whole lot open to the possiblity of anything, didn't realize that there was that many well known women in "history"!?!?!

But when I was doing my reading there was a very selfish greed vibe going on, that I wouldn't think that I would get if it is the Virgin Mary...(more accurately hope that I wouldn't get from her, not that I would know one way or another).

Yes very true, my narrow science/fact based mind can get in the way of the biggest picture.

I am not getting a greed from any of my cards I do get manipulation, a user of men in a big way.

The first card to pop up on me is that of the Devil, in the Revelations deck it depicts the Devil with wings leaning over a circle that is stacked full of coins, smoking a cigarette. Being that the Devil is also Carpicorn gives the feel of greed to me. However being manipulative and user of men does still fit in with the Devil card.

The mythology has always been an interest, but after doing the reading that is seriously what I got from it. I couldn't even begin to tell you why; especially when you consider the fact that before I did the reading I was thinking of the Virgin Mary. Ah well...I guess we'll find out tomorrow who she is.

I just asked "what did she want?" I got the king of wands...I can take this two ways, physically : This is the confident, charismatic walk into a room show stopper with shoulder length dark hair, she has good taste in men.
Mentally: She wanted to be centre stage, a powerful leader and set an example in a inspirational authority figure sort of way.

Mulan? taking fictional charators into account or how about Pandora?
