Tabi we all seem to be polarized between a righteous person and a power person. I keep looking for someone who has both qualities...

Mulan wouldn't have come up as the King of Wands, though. She was naive and brave in the story line. One that did things without thinking but was all heart when she did do it. Maybe a Knight but not a King. Besides not everyone know who Mulan is.

Pandora is a little more complex due to her history, or lack there of actually. She is most well known for opening the box of evils that overrun the earth. Also keep in mind that Venus while out of the realm of the normal is not necessiarly fictional. There was many who did and do still worship her giving her power.

As to the righteous and power woman; the woman in my reading is cocky, confident and overly sure of herself, that is until the end something throws her off that shames her. Given that the QC was the Lovers, I do believe it was some thing to do with her love life or lack there of.

I'm going to pull another card asking: Who is this woman?

3 of Cups showed up, in the Revelations it is that of three mermaids in the ocean. Two men and a woman all joined their left hand. The first man and woman have their cups in front of them the other one has it behind him.

So maybe it is a woman that was overly indulgent when it come to men and affairs, one that was hiding one from another in plain sight. Someone that enjoyed parting/celebrating too much to realize the outcome of her situation until it was too late.

I do agree with you on the confident and chasmtic traits and also wanting to be center stage..I don't think she was a leader but she would have made a great one.

Random thought that applies no where but she was married.

Good points on Mulan but I do see the king of wands as inspirational and willing to take risks, and I know few historical women...she came to mind. Still she has too much goodness in her to be our victim.. you are right.

Over indulgence...YES this have been a key for me, but that is most ancient rulers or demi gods still. Did we do Helen of troy?

Mulan is too obscure. celticnoodle said "well known throughout the world."

I think it's Joan of Arc, whose birthdate is only know approximately.

The cards are not helping me in the slightest.

Hmm, well, maybe. I drew Knight of Swords, King of Cups, Three of Swords. KN and 3 swords make sense. I'd forgotten that Cups are Clergy in the old cards--so...again...

Joan of Arc.

There is something about this one that just does not work for me, I rarely hit a wall. Joan of Arc crossed my mind too, we all are mentioning the same women over and over.

I would say Mary Celeste at this point, as it fits all the cards but not the criteria.

Honestly when I was first reading through before I did my own reading I thought it was Mary Queen of the Scots or whatever...some Queen....however my history is beyond sucking. I slept through all my history classes and now that I'm older I still don't really care for history.

I didn't get Joan of Arc at all, she doesn't feel right to me and again she would have some completely different cards coming up. Admittedly the Hanged Man and the Hierophant would make sense but you think the latter would have come up more if it was her.

Ah...well I'm going to stay tuned until I get my answer tomorrow (today) sometime...until then I need a nap. Good night, y'all

how would we verify personality and all if it is someone at the very beginning of history?

I think it is someone in biblical history....

I think she died before her love and haunted him - he was destroyed by her death....

I don't think it could be someone fictional because she is deceased as celtic said.....

Celtic..... we need a little narrowing down on our draws.... please come out and play..... thanks

oops! I was just about to give a clue, a GOOD clue too, thanks to a post that the crowned one left, and I typed it all up and selected "submit reply", and it took me back to my post---only it wasn't there! Wierd! So, I thought, well let me re-read everyones post, and give a few clues, not just one. While re-reading it, I saw someone had already guessed it!

so sorry I missed that! I was gone most of yesterday, and was on just quickly last night with not any chance and too tired to boot!, to pay much attention, I guess! so, read on, and I'll announce the winner! Well done, winner!!!
Actually, everyone did remarkably well, and was so close, but not right on.

Well, this was posted at mystery person #56....maybe this will be a hint
I think this is what made me think the Virgin Mary (or someone like that)

Celtic Noodles Post:
truth is, I've JUST posted game #57---and then saw you had posted here, so came to check it out.

I was trying to think of someone that would be so easy, that she'd be difficult to guess. I was also hoping to find someone to stump the great franniee---so give it a try franniee, and let's see if I found someone that even you cannot guess!

Addendum: oops - just saw Celtic's above post - we'll know soon!
