Now, to me, I always think of this as the beginning of Love - the new, fresh start of Love. I'm still thinking Mary, but too bad it's not Eve - I liked that one too! I just don't get it, because in the Catholic Church we celebrate Mary's B-day.
So, puzzled................................. .......
yes, a new, fresh start of love, very good! no, not Eve though--and not the Blessed Mother, Mary, whom you are thinking of here---oooh you guys are so good! so close---so HOT!!!

Time to draw a card, One card, this is her attitude: The lovers. SO, temptation and commitment, this lady was aware of the value of love.
YES! Very very good, crowned one!

Mulan? taking fictional charators into account or how about Pandora?
ooooh crowned one! such a great question! this morning, when I read this, and about to post a clue, I was going to base it on this post. however, it did not go through, (we have Road Runner internet---suppose to be soo fasst!!!!, but in reality is sooooooo sllllloooooow. sometimes, as a result my posts get dropped! but a good thing anyway, because someone did guess properly and I realized that afterwards. so, that is why i'm now going through everyone's posts and letting them know what is right/waht is wrong.

now, I'm not suer she wanted to be centre stage, or that she was a powerful leader, but she did have good taste in men!

The mythology has always been an interest, but after doing the reading that is seriously what I got from it. I couldn't even begin to tell you why; especially when you consider the fact that before I did the reading I was thinking of the Virgin Mary. Ah well...I guess we'll find out tomorrow who she is.
oops! almost missed this one tabi! yes, some would consider her the devil, and being manipulative and user of men is good! no, not the Virgin Mary though.

Pandora is a little more complex due to her history, or lack there of actually. She is most well known for opening the box of evils that overrun the earth. Also keep in mind that Venus while out of the realm of the normal is not necessiarly fictional. There was many who did and do still worship her giving her power.

As to the righteous and power woman; the woman in my reading is cocky, confident and overly sure of herself, that is until the end something throws her off that shames her. Given that the QC was the Lovers, I do believe it was some thing to do with her love life or lack there of.

I'm going to pull another card asking: Who is this woman?

3 of Cups showed up, in the Revelations it is that of three mermaids in the ocean. Two men and a woman all joined their left hand. The first man and woman have their cups in front of them the other one has it behind him.

So maybe it is a woman that was overly indulgent when it come to men and affairs, one that was hiding one from another in plain sight. Someone that enjoyed parting/celebrating too much to realize the outcome of her situation until it was too late.
wow! very good!

Random thought that applies no where but she was married.
very good, tabi! yes, I think too that she may have been a great leader. I wonder how the world would be today if she did take over the role and be the leader- instead of the person that took that role.

okay, I THINK I got everyone who drew a card, and posted it here with their interp and guess. Everyone did well. I am sorry I did not give a clue yesterday, but I was gone most of the day yesterday and did not return home till late, and was pooped. I read through most of the posts, and missed the winner last night.

Yes, someone did post the answer, but I don't recall them really pulling any cards! They went with your guesses, I think, and they were right on--- I think the first person to guess correctly---

CONGRATULATIONS WILLOWFOX!

The Mystery Lady WAS

Mary Magdalene!

YEA FOR WILLOWFOX!

And, here, I thought I picked someone you would not be able to guess! And, I think the first person to guess correctly, DIDN'T EVEN LAY OUT CARDS?

now, sorry for the delay again. all in all, I enjoyed reading your pulls and guesses. yes, some very good guesses too!
but now, I have to run off to do laundry for my trip tomorrow. will take my laptop, in case the hotel has internet service, but if not, i'm sorry I'll miss the next game or two! have fun in the next few rounds if I'm not around! thanks for playing!
