3 swords suffered disappointments, was emotionally let down. Star! 5 swords experienced hostility, deceit and lies. 6 wands the winner, very successful, won awards. |

With my FM deck- I first thought Eleanor Roosevelt but: LOOKS: King Cups/ Nine of Swords RX: I think this lady always looked mature for her years, and had kindly eyes but perhaps an anxious undertone. I think she is one you always think of in her older years rather than her youth so I am going to say grey hair or dark hair. Cheerful, but a deep saddness. Maybe even motherly looking. CAREER: 3 CupsRX/ Death - Ohhhh! So many possibilities here- Her career was somehow marred by overindulgence- maybe in alcohol or drugs. Broken relationships, or maybe she was a workaholic. There was a transition. She was liberated somehow through a purging, perhaps some kind of spiritual regeneration. It is also possible that the overindulgence eventually came to it's inevitable end- death. Billie Holiday? PERSONALITY: Hanged Man/ 10 CoinsR- This is an interesting woman! No Tom Cruise here. Committed, dedicated, calm, dared to be different. Also a person willing to sacrafice and probably had to. Selfless. This is a person who may have been affected by a death or someones illness, or who had to deal with problems with some large organization like a goverment or a bureaucracy that was in her life, but she placed her self in this position of having to do so- this was part of her passion. Unhappily maried I think too. FAMILY: 7 Cups/ 8 SwordsRX- All I can think here is that she was somehow held hostage by the dreams and ideals of someone in her family. She had to support ( her husband?) or somebody else's thing until she finally broke free from that and once she did her own thing she became famous for it. If I g back to the more addictive personality possiblility of the reading this is perhaps a person who broke free from addictions or maybe somebody who went on and off the wagon and who relied on family for support. Lots of directions in this read. SOMETHING SPECIAL: 3 WandsRX Goals not reached, perhaps died before true talent could be realized or attained. ????? I still think perhaps Billie Holiday. I'll come back later and toss a few ugly deck cards. The FM is not my best deck, but it's what is on my desk right now. __________________ Some mornings its just not worth it to chew through the leather straps |
