Hi Solitare! No, it's kinda a general spread that some of us use as a base, you can draw as many cards as you want however you want no rules as far as that goes. We all pick up on so many different things, it's all in fun, doesn't matter if your right or wrong...I'll warn you though this game is addicting!

Franniee, I'll be back later, got a million things to do. Sorry to hear about your car, is it a goner?

nope exactly as SMV says - just draw what you want to try and figure out who this person is. Some of us just guess off the top - not me - i draw cards for looks and personality and career etc and try and figure out who the person is that way. Whatever you feel comfortable doing. It is a lot of fun! Give it a go.

She is quite well known.

Our weekend at the Glen was nice! I thought of you & your sis often....everytime we went to get gas or whatever - it is near the gorge.

The car blew up on the first run on saturday morning while my husband was driving! Thank goodness he stopped it without hitting the guard rail! But friday was awesome!!!!!!!! I drove like my old self - before the baby and back operation! I was tickled pink! The car was so set up it was so much fun! Too bad we didn't get a chance to play on saturday!! But we did get to come home and being in our own bed couldn't have been a better treat!

Hope you had a great weekend too!

Anyway come on someone throw some cards and get this party started.

I know that one--we go to it too when we are in town there. my sister use to live on 9th street & (?) -right across the street from teh Catholic church & the sheriffs office & just one block from the gorge. She is now on 2nd street & has a beautiful view of the water. There is a new restaurant there on the water that is great--forgot to tell you earlier-but you'll remember for next time! If you ever walk the gorge early in the morning, chances are you'd run into my sister. she's a real walker!

too bad about the blow-up. maybe one day when you go there, i'll be able to meet up w/you. We did have a great weekend--rcvd a 'preview' of the grandbaby--our dau. had a sonogram done & sent it to our cellphone! technology today-WOW! the grand'baby' is teh size of a jellybean right now!

LOOKS: ace swords reversed, hierophant, page of rods
a bit dull looking and someone who seems to not have a lot of friends. Also having the page of rods there in the mix, next to that hierophant, makes me feel like she was the nosey neighbor and a know it all who also told it all. probably fair haired, and light colored eyes, and still even w/all this negativity, somewhat popular, (given the sun necklace around the page of rods neck), and the hierophant card.

PERSONALITY: knight of cups reversed, 6 pentacles revesred, 9 of cups reversed. i feel like she is always looking for acceptance, greedily so, and never quite finding what she is looking for. she was never 100% happy & always searching for more. she may also have portrayed herself in one way, and was actually something else. not sure if this was part of her career, but it seems like she was deceptive for some reason. she may have been a selfish woman also, always wanting more.

CAREER: empress reversed, ace of rods, hermit reversed
this woman is someone who has a hard butt job! she searches out information on people/places/things--she seems to be someone who works for like a newspaper rag--you know the type to tell all, true or not. the ace makes me feel like she wraps the truth up in a prettier package--(probably distorted truth) to make it more appealing to customers. the ace makes it feel like possibly she started something new with this---a new enterprise that she began?

WHY IS SHE FAMOUS? ace of pentacles, strength reversed, queen of pentacles reversed
she is famous because she did start a new enterprise, and one that became very profitable. it was something that she developed herself, but she may have been a bit irresponsible with it also, since that queen is reversed. was she it in only for the glory and the money? the strength reversed indicates to me she forgot about her honor and and responsibilities to those she was in charge of or served. she was ruthless.

HOME & FAMILY:the magician reversed, 7 swords, death reversed
the magician rev. makes me feel like she preferred to be alone, top dog--the only person who could do as she pleased w/o thinking of anyone else. the death reversed upholds this feeling for me too. that 7 of swords suggests that if she ever did have a family/relationship, she was deceptive in it.

WHAT ATTRIBUTED TO HER DEATH: 5swords reversed, 10 swords, king of cups. death by being stabbed???? back pain??? okay, just had to say that. now, for real:
she may have had to have had surgery as teh king of cups could rep. the doctor she trusted and had faith in. however, i think that with the surgery she had, problems develop and it contributed to her death. it can also be that old age also contributed to it as well, and I am 'hearing' the word 'spine' in my head, so did something happen to her backbone, all above kidding aside?!

edited to add: COME JOIN IN Solitaire! It's great fun. we read each other's clues and work together to see who can finally come up with the answer. but be warned--it's very addictive!

no she died of a heart attack but she really was ill from cancer.
