Hey, Aziah...I would have added my two cents last night but the Sangria kicked in, and I dozed in front of the computer (lightweight!). But I also am glad you're staying. The trip just got started, and looking at the scenery is a perfect pastime, whilst we're waiting for the frenzies at the stops! Now....all the wines sound fantastic...but I'm still a bit fuzzy from all that Spanish stuff last night....so I am going to weave my way toward a nice, frothy, hot venti cafe mocha (no whip, please)..... __________________ And March, the mad scientist, brings a new change in ever-dancing colours. And April is summer-bound, and February's blue. And no one stops to see the colours. |

Staking Claim to the Tarot of a Moon Garden!!!
Okay, I just rolled out of the upper berth and stumbled to my computer (no work today -- just tarot and court tv all day ). Hmmm... Tarot of a Moon Garden. Well, this is something I wouldn't ordinarily choose for myself, I've never had it --- I've never even looked at it. Last train, I lost sight of the idea that we're supposed to be open to new experiences and focused on the "trading" aspect -- tit for tat, so to speak. Well, this time I'm going for the new experience. Thank you, Aziah, I'd like to claim your Tarot of a Moon Garden for myself. Thank you for offering it, and I can't wait to have it in my hands from your hands! Also, here's my favorite train song by Cat Stevens (Yusuf Islam): "Now I've been happy lately Thinking about the good things to come And I believe it could be Something good has begun I've been smiling lately Dreaming about the world as one And I believe it could be Something good's bound to come "For out on the edge of darkness There runs the peace train Peace train take this country Come take me home again "Peace train sounding louder Ride on the peace train Hoo-ah-eeh-ah-hoo-ah Come on the peace train Peace train's a holy roller Everyone jump upon the peace train Hoo-ah-eeh-ah-hoo-ah This is the peace train "Get your bags together Come bring your good friends too Because it's getting nearer Soon it will be with you Come and join the living It's not so far from you And it's getting nearer Soon it will all be true "Peace train sounding louder Ride on the peace train Hoo-ah-eeh-ah-hoo-ah Come on the peace train "I've been crying lately Thinking about the world as it is Why must we go on hating? Why can't we live in bliss? "For out on the edge of darkness There rides the peace train Peace train take this country Come take me home again "Peace train sounding louder Ride on the peace train Hoo-ah-eeh-ah-hoo-ah Come on the peace train "Come on, come on, come on the peace train..." Wow, I forgot how good that one is! I may find myself at iTunes before the day is done...Love, c.s. |

cronesayer, that is one of my favorite Cat Steven's songs. I play a nice acoustic solo version of it. The first passenger has handed in his ticket I guess I am up...Edit: that deck you choose...It is amazingly pretty, wonderful artwork! __________________ Full cup, steady hand. Back at the Victoria station allready? WOW. The repeates first: Tarot of Leonardo Da Vinci opened and looked at. As new. See here … http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/card...nci/index.shtml Bruegel Tarot, this is a great deck and again as new. Not a bad effort at capturing Sr. work.. See here.. http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/card...gel/index.shtml A custom, what do they call it when you trim a deck? I THINK it is Camoin’s Bicentennial Tarot de Marseilles. See the pictures for my modifications. This is a very old feeling deck now. I had to modify it because I bought it off a Canadian sailor who had written Arabic numbers on the cards for ease of use…they drove me nuts. I felt square corners were much more authentic for the times. See the pictures for details. I also painted the backs and sodes in gold. http://img517.imageshack.us/img517/4...ktrade2pk2.jpg http://img517.imageshack.us/img517/3...ktrade3vl7.jpg http://img517.imageshack.us/img517/3...ktrade1zm0.jpg I have a 1970 1jj Swiss , this deck was first published in ’68 by kaplin I believe so we are getting back there, all the cards including the 2 extras. lwb but no box. Cards are excellent; I will throw in a bag. See pictures for details. http://img261.imageshack.us/img261/6620/jjswissam9.jpg http://img261.imageshack.us/img261/9168/jjswiss3yf1.jpg http://img261.imageshack.us/img261/476/jjswiss2sq2.jpg My latest Radiant Rider-Waite, This is a very readable deck, it is used and in very good plus condition. It was my number one, is actually, and I use it daily, but I need to replace it with another copy I have. For a beginner these cards come pre loaded with tones of good karma and happiness LOL. I love this deck unconditionally. It reads like a child's book, it is that open. http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/card...ite/index.shtml Ship of fools box set. The book is read. Very interesting The cards have never been used, just looked at. http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/card...s/details.shtml Tarot of the dead box set unopened. http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cards...ad/index.shtml Gilded with companion book but no box, just a bag. http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cards...d/review.shtml Ramses tarot of eternity opened and unused. http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cards.../details.shtml Thats the list...train is leaving the station now...next station is Lark. __________________ Full cup, steady hand. Good Morning everyone... people waking up on the other side of the world and I just got back home after a longgggggg day I was waiting to meet my fellow passengers... Aziah would you like to move from the back seat and give me some company. I need a drink and Martini would be good right now =) May be we can join franniee for some. Good choice cronesayer, the images look like in between clouds to me. Hemera, I managed to run between work and post your deck today. The guy said it may take about two weeks. He said the same last time I sent stuff to my brother in Singapore but it reached him in 4 days so I'm hoping it doesn't take too long to get the deck to you. __________________ If you believe in something its true |
