I'm gonna guess Giovanni Bellini or Raphael only because they both have several paintings of the Madonna and Child..not that I know anything about art!

Don't know about the women but our guy is as famous as either artist you mentioned.

No, Among all his later honors I don't think he has been declared a saint. In some ways the church was not very happy with his ideas- unless they were being used to benefit themselves.

Yes lots of organizing and planning was involved in his greatest achievement. He worked hard and was absorbed by his project. He did work with others as well but the idea was his alone. He definitely left his mark on the world.

He was not a soldier nor was he in any wars but his invention changed the world and let indirectly to the Renaissance and Protestant reformation. He was exiled for a bit, but it was because of a squabble between two archbishops, not a big thing like a war. He changed the world.
