Tarot themed desktop wallpapers.

Hi all,
I've been rather busy over the past few months creating and using desktop wallpapers themed around some of the Tarot decks I own, and I thought I'd post them here for you to enjoy. They mainly show the majors of each deck, and often against a background image inspired either by the motifs of the deck, or other images associated with the deck- and most have dark bands at top and bottom to place your icons on, or plenty of space around the images- so they don't spoil the nice view! Anyhow, here goes:
first off is the famous Book of Thoth, by Aleister Crowley...

Most of the next wallpapers seem to be too big to upload, so I'll link to them via Imageshack. Just click on the titles below:

Norbert Losche's Cosmic Tarot, on a blue star field.

Cirom's Gilded Tarot. (I thought the plain black background set the wonderful colours off perfectly..)

The Cosmic Tarot again, in High definition on a purple star field.

Zach Wong's revelations Tarot. (The background was inspired by the 'vortex' pattern on the back of the cards, and two majors are shown mirrored to illustrate the reversible images on the cards.)

Please feel free to use these, if you want to.

Thankyou, GreyWoolfe, how very generous! I've just installed the Revelations one - it's high on my wishlist

My pleasure! I find that having the majors of a particular deck on the PC helps me to meditate on the deck while at work, or somewhere where I'm unable to physically take the cards for whichever reason.

Nice pix!! Digging on the Thoth one, the Revelations while really cool could have been SO much better for that deck. It really doesn't do it justice.

The Thoth one was tricky for me to find a decent background image to- I originally wanted an art-deco pattern of some kind that set off the cards, but wasn't too overbearing. I couldn't find anything that looked right to me, so instead I went for the Egyptian theme, and found a lovely image of the pyramid in silhouette, and added an image of Thoth to complement it. The typeface for the writing is called Harrington, and it looked nicely sort of 1920's style, which seemed to suit the cards. If I make more, I'll add them here.

Thank you so much. I really like the Cosmic on the blue star field.
