Lo Scarabeo Tarot - Hermit

My personal card of the day today was the Hermit - I pull this card fairly often which I realize is a continual reminder for me to look within for the answers in my life rather than to the external world.

I believe the little white book for this deck lists the keywords Introspection and Isolation for this card.

There are turbulent dark clouds in the background, but to me, the card always has a sense of peace. The inner peace emanating out from within the Hermit,perhaps.

I don't have much experience with the Thoth deck to pull out what elements in this card are taken from that deck.

The egg that the Hermit holds is from the Thoth Tarot. The Hermit seems to be on the big search for the meaning of life, and no one or nothing (not even the cold) will stop him. He is also making an internal journey to find wisdom and to improve himself.

Not much to say about this one at the moment.
