There are a few things you need to know first. 1. Exact time of birth of the person you want to know about. 2. Place of birth of that person. Then go to this website and input the info http://www.astro.com/cgi/ahor.cgi?lang=e (it's the one under drawing - click chart drawings).
This will show you the sun sign, the ascendant and where all the planets fall in the 12 houses. If you want to do a full chart you can print that up and then go to this site http://www.astrology-numerology.com/charthelp.html
At this site you will need to copy and paste the info. It's requires a little work but it's free. Just follow the directions under Astrology index.
I've done a few charts for some friends and it takes about 30 mins give or take. The one on me with pretty much a bulleye! Hope this helps.
