So I picked up my cards and I was trying to think about what spread to use and this random voice like thing spoke to me. It seemed anyway. So I tried it and it worked well. I wanted to share it with everyone and I'd really like to hear from other people of how well it worked for them. It's works a little different than any other spread I've used. The Knights at the Round Table spread This spread is used to discover specifics about the people who you influence and who influence you and what relationship you have with them. The number of cards you draw for the first round can be any number of cards from 2 to 39 (using a 78 card deck [39 is half of 78]). I used 7, 39 would be a lot. Place the drawn cards in a circle like they are sitting around the table. Each card represents a person that you have some sort of relationship with - friend, girlfriend, boyfriend, foe, mom, dad, sister, whatever. But you decide who each card is after you draw them and sit them around the table. They might not be people you were planning on sitting around the table, but whomever you think is being represented is in that seat. One of the people at the table must be you however, so you are being represented by a card as well. Or the inquirer if you're reading for someone else. After you have decided whom is sitting where and being represented by what cards, choose another round of cards for each person. Don't feel the need to go in any specific order for there is no head at the round table. Place the cards right on top of the first round cards but showing a little bit of the card underneath. These new cards are either your relationship with that person, what influence you are/can be on them or the influence they are/can be on you. Also notice where you and others are sitting. Most of the time lovers will be sitting somewhat directly across. Friends normally are sitting next to you. And people you are in quarrel with will be sitting the farthest away. I realize that the farthest away would be directly across, but the farthest away that's not directly across (like a 45˚ angle from you). I hope I described it well enough, it's hard to put into words without pictures. Please tell me what you think! And ask any questions you might have.

Thanks for questions, love to answer... Yes you're are right. You can just choose whatever number you want. I based it on however many people I've closely associated with in the past week or so. And then you decide who they represent after you draw, I suppose after you've drawn the cards and there's someone you were expecting at the table that's not there, you can keep drawing more cards and add to the table until that person seems to arrive. So you can have people in mind, but don't plan on them showing up, although they are more likely to show up if they are on your mind because they apparently are having an influence on you or visa versa.

In the cards I found my dad, my brother and his fiancé, some friends, and two love interests. I wanted to say that I drew the 2 of cups, which represents and engagement so I chose to use my brother and his fiancé as one card at the table. It worked well that way. It was very good reading and great representation of my relationships with these people.

This sounds interesting! Question... on the second round, do you choose where the cards go, like you did on the first round? Like, do you turn over a (second-round) card and place it on the person you think it matches? Or do you deal them around the circle, letting them fall where they may? |

harmony1985: I'm really glad you enjoyed it, makes my day that at least one person enjoyed it. pippi: Question... on the second round, do you choose where the cards go, like you did on the first round? Like, do you turn over a (second-round) card and place it on the person you think it matches? Or do you deal them around the circle, letting them fall where they may? answer: You can choose who you lay them on after you draw them but not after you look at them. So no you don't relate them the second round you just deal them, but like I said you can pick them in any order. Thanks for looking!

That is an interesting spread, I will have to give it a try!!! Would you say that this spread is a method of taking an "Inventory" of the people who influence your life, or is there another purpose that I am missing? Hmmmmmmmm....
