Yikes! I haven't been on the board much the last few days...(I've been focusing on healing, blah blah blah). But just now caught up to this thread and found my name on the list of passengers...oh! Thank you so much EM and Kat!! I'm feeling much, much better thank you, but everyone warns me to not over do it and I'm taking that as permission to relax and catch up on my reading and take lots of naps! Zzzz.z.z.z.z.zz!! Went out for the first time since surgery on Valentine's Day for dinner...it was nice to get out, but I tire so easily!! I'm thinking I'll be ready for the next train, and I'm saving my energy for the next (my first!) bullet!! cara

Hi everyone! I had a great weekend with my friend from up north,,,we took the tour of the Tobasco plant/factory and went to Jungle gardens. Chowed down on some boiled crawfish with taters and corn, made etouffee, and I just finished peeling the leftovers and putting a crawfish fettucine in the oven. I've been following since last night and wanting to ride, but I have two packages to get into the mail that take precedence (one for a fellow train tripper  ), so I'm going to wait for the next one, although I've been watching TCO's Bruegel stash dwindle and cursing myself. Still, if I were riding, I do believe I'd spontaneously combust...I can't STAND the waiting. That bullet got me addicted to instant and total gratification. Makes the regular train seem to be in a warp. But considering that there are so many people in so many different time zones and places, it actually moves along quite successfully. Have fun, amigos! I'm cheering you on! |
