Ohhhh dead girls- just how I like 'em.
With the ugly deck:

LOOKS: 10 SwordsRX/ 10 WandsRX- Well she didn't look so good. Tired, beaten, careworn, worn out. I feel like she was double-crossed. She was also perpas ill, or lived to be very old and showed every mile. I see her with messy hair and wrinkles around her eyes which I think are blue.

PERSONALITY: Star/Justice: She was famous in her time, talked about. More like Enquirer famous, gossiped about. She was hurt by an injustice, perhaps a false accusation. Legal troubles? They are what we know her for.

CAREER: DevilRX/ SunRX. Her life had something to do with the devil reversed. People probably thought she was a bad girl in some way and she paid the price for it. She may have been a bad girl, but I don't think so.

SOMETHING SPECIAL: 3 Wands: She was practical and strong, enterprising. This is perhaps what she was disliked for. She may have had those who were jealous of her.

This is the aniversary of the early hearings of the Salem witchcraft trials. It would seem this may be one of the accuused or the accusers. I'll guess Rebecca Nurse or Tibitua ( sp?)

Golden Tarot

Yipee! a new game~

Who She Was: The Star~
Well, this makes me wonder if she really was a star on the stage or the big screen?

The Star offers hope, so I wonder if she was involved in philanthropic work, either with her money, or used her position as a platform to speak out, or got personally involved in good works.

Do you know if she liked dogs especially?

There is a mermaid; that ties to swimming and bathing suits and the ocean. Was she in beauty pageants?

Her Background and Personal Life: Six of Swords and King of Coins~

Boats and Ships ~ did she travel by sea or move from her home country?
Was she from a country or area where fishing was a main part of the economy? Also made me think of Venice, Italy~

This feels like affluent people and the Mediterranean. I wonder if she came from money or did she marry a wealthy man.
Taking it literally, was she a royal?
This is a well-rounded, skillful man, could this represent her strong business side? Was she a successful business woman?

Audrey Hepburn?

she is mentioned as not being very pretty, but it doesn't say anymore then this on her looks. she wasn't double-crossed herself, but she was a double crosser! she did not live to be very old actually---and I'm not sure if she had blue eyes or not.

yes, she became famous and most likely talked about. as for her being hurt by an injustice, that is a yes and no answer. depends on which side of the issue you are on! there were legal issues with her, and yes, it is what she is known for! very good! this ugly deck is really good!

the devil reversed is a good card and interp for her, considering the times she was living in!

she was practical and strong--if not physically, then mentally and emotionally! yes, enterprising too. it was what she was both loved and hated for too. very good! as for the jealousy, I'm not really sure.

wow! good guess, but nope! in fact, much later then the Salem witchcraft trials. one of them would be a great MP though--thanks for the idea! come forward about one hundred sixty + years and you'll be closer to the timeframe for our MP!

B.A. this deck is awesome! if you ever find out the name of it, I hope you'll let us know!

VERY GOOD PICKUP! She became an actress later, yes, but it was before 'the big screen' times. I'm amazed you got this!
However, do not focus on this to guess her, as its really not what she is known for.

she used her position as a platform to speak out and she did get personally involved in what she and people who were on 'her side' would consider good works. this was BEFORE her actress days though!

not sure if she liked or even had dogs. and no, she was not in beauty pageants, as she was not known to be pretty. however, she is noted as having a great body, especially known for her 'beautiful ankles'!

tarot4fun, you are smokin!!!! Yes, she did travel from her home country. Not to Italy, as far as I know though. another country. I don't think where she was from was noted for fishing, though at this time in which she lived, I'm sure some fishing was done in the local waters.

Audrey Hepburn?
her family was affluent, but not her immediate family. her father & mother didn't really have 'wealth' like her other family members, from what I read. she was not from the Mediterranean. She did marry, but I don't think she married into wealth either. She was not royal. she was successful in the area where she is known for.

not Audrey Hepburn.

Mata Hari? Maybe she is too recent but she fits- although I think a lot of people saw a lot more than her ankles. She was Dutch and movd from her home country- which would have been known for fishing- so maybe not.

The ugly deck is truly butt-ugly. I don't even remember where I got it. It was tallish and sort of skinny, and has very childish bad drawings on it. It has an orange back with those blue Egyptian symbols on it. Anhk? I don't know how to spell the word. It used to have keywords on top and bottom and I hated them. When I first joined AT I read about someone trimming their deck and I thought Jesus! trimming! It would never have crossed my mind to trim a deck- but this one went under the exacto knife right away and now the pictures are pretty mini. I keep it on my desk at work bound up with one of those purple rubber bands that comes on broccoli from the super market.
The damn thing reads like a dream- why O why can't my Fantastic menagerie or Golden do as well??????

Oh, how I’ve missed this game!

OK, dead girl

7Cups/AceCups
I feel like she was very spiritual and connected to God. She looks like she’s draped in white from head to toe or at least head to knee caps. I don’t think she was really seen without her “cover”. LOL, not even sure how real she was or a figment of the imagination more than anything, like one can only imagine what she looked like. These crosses and doves and wings definitely give me a religious feel for her, like she was an angel of mercy.

3Wands/2Swords
I don’t think anyone really knew the real her…she seems to have blocked herself from anyone knowing who she really was, she didn’t like to have close personal relationships with people. She wouldn’t exactly reach out but more waited to be reached out to but still kept herself at a distance. Maybe it was waiting for the right time or something.

Sun/3Cups
I am getting that it was her job to create happiness and beauty around her. I’m getting some kind of royalty with her, maybe a son involved somehow? There is something with white clothing with her, I’m getting it again here, I don’t know what kind of clothing except white, I want to go with wedding dress but I can't be sure. I’m wondering if she is celebrated or honored for something she did. It seems like maybe her job was one of a kind and her memory lives on. Lol, I don’t know what exactly she did though. A holy rolling dress maker?

3Swords/6Pents
Ouch. Lots of sadness here. She might have been separated from her family somehow, she was very upset but I think she still supported them in her absence or visa versa. She might have even been connected to a charity for families with hardships, any way there is someone here reaching out with a handful of money

KingCups/KnightWands
This must be the husband, so she was married. Is there something about Africa, lol I’m being pulled to the jungle or something similar with desert.

Now I’ll go read the rest, I lost my focus toward the end

I wondered if she was in a career or activity that was not considered correct for a proper female to be involved in~

Wondering about the issues of the time~
Two of Coins ~ "harmony in the midst of conflict and change"

This got me thinking about what was going on in the 1850s~ and how a woman could be "a double crosser"~ a spy?
