A little while ago, I dreamed I was a vampire...?
Well, I'm kinda an old-school Goth to SOME extent, but honestly, that is the VERY 1st dream of THAT kind I have EVER had! I was "attacking" someone in whom I am VERY INTENTLY INTERESTED... & he was the "willing victim" of legend, limp in my arms! MOST peculiar!! Yep, it went "all the way" the way a vampire goes! Is this a BAD thing?? Mainly, I feel guilty because the dream felt GOOD! (I am a "frequent dream flyer" & in this one, I felt this surge of power & just took off for his window...) __________________ OMNIA EXEUNT IN MYSTERIUM |

It must be scaring the heck out of you Blackroseivy ! Do you know the person in real life ? It was like you could not get enough of him. I don't know the answer for sure. No, it is not a bad thing. We encounter many strange and weird things in our dreams. Unless you are lucid dreaming you have no conscious control so don't worry about that aspect of your dream. It just came to me now ... maybe this in some areas refers to your art being sold in Europe and your anticipated trip over there. In the dream you were in the total unknown. A strange milieu and you enjoyed it very much (Lol). You say you took off for his window.. you would have to take off when you go to Europe. You will head for your agent there and I am sure you will enjoy the success of your art being accepted graciously. In tandem with his willing effort on your behalf. You use the word attack but it was not an attack if he was willing. Maybe it also reflects your total commitment to succeeding in the art world as well and maybe you are worried about how you will dress and how you will present yourself and you got a flashback of your Goth days. Maybe you used the word attack because you have been trying so intently with your art. When you do your art do you attack it and no rest until you have accomplised what you set out to do ? Wow - now THAT is 1 interpretation that I would never have come up with!! YEAH! It fits, that powerful surge I felt! & yes, I tend to sit for hours until I am FINISHED with whatever I am doing, or to whatever stage I need to get done. I guess you could call me an intent sort of person!! As for "Goth flashback" - well, I never went all-out in that direction, but always WANTED to... I think that I'm actually more so as I get older, haha!! NOT really a "has-been" at all!... I guess you could call me a "New Romantic" - "Romantique Nouveu", haha! I am going to be wearing my corset - but it is an ivory brocade one, not black as it happens. I tend toward color & pale stuff when it comes to "dressing the part", though black will CERTAINLY be part of my wardrobe! I'm also thinking of my makeup etc... Well, that's all for looks, of course. To get back to the subject at hand, I just was astonished that I had such a dream. The art comes into it with the fellow - I am going to be dealing with him in the art area sometime in the future, so maybe it had to do with that, too? Thanx, you gave me much "food for thought" (haha)!

Good, I am glad it resonated with you. I cannot say it was my idea at all and in fact when I wrote in the beginning I did not know the answer I meant it. Then for some reason it just flashed out at me and so I wrote it. This does not make it valid but it was an interesting moment for me anyway. I think attack describes the way you do your art. It was your use of the word. Maybe it triggered some of the content of the dream. That and your silent wishing about "wanting" to be Goth. Your planned wardrobe sounds very creative and interesting and pretty really and I like the name..Romantique Nouveau ! Yes I do believe the dream had to do with dealing with the fellow about the art. (You are intent, he is willing, you will get the very most out of it !) Not to say you will suck his blood as in a vampire but the same things more modified and acceptable to you. Actually looking at it that way there is a bit of ironic humor in the dream .. do you think ? |

I think DI and I are probably stating the same thing...but it could be implying Psychic Vampiring too. Most people are willing and do enable us to do this to them especially if it is someone that cares about us. |

Well, safe to say this guy wouldn't know about it anyway... But I do know what you mean, & I think that I have to watch my "feelings" - even though that's like, an impossible enterprise!

Ah! I just saw something from someone else that made me think; & I think that it's tied up with my guilty feelings for this person in my waking hours. In that light, all this makes perfect sense... __________________ OMNIA EXEUNT IN MYSTERIUM |

Guilty ? Hmm that sounds interesting even if unexplainable on your part. Don't even try here I am just commenting. I just listened to a tape by Scott Peck and in it he talks about two kinds of guilt. One being a guard of our consciousness and helpful... it made sense. The other being "existentialist" which at the moment I don't really understand. I never divided my "guilt" into categories ! I always have trouble with the meaning of that word anyway. Maybe I will listen to it again. It sounds like you got some understanding for your dream which is really good. |
