I've just ordered this deck; took me awhile to decide whether to wait on the second edition or go for the limited edition. But, I really wanted this one, so I decided to go for it. After reading all the comments about it, I know I won't be disappointed! They might need to wrap it in plastic for its trip down, as Hannah is a'coming!

have just had card of the PO to say that my package is at the depot.
They couldn't deliver it as there's a Customs charge of £16.07!
I will collect it in the morning as they are now shut!
But am a bit T'd Off, as I wasn't expecting this extra charge..........

Woah! Customs duties are THAT much?? That's got to be over 50% of value?! I know it's different in every country, goods have to be over $1000 to get customs duty into Australia, then we only pay about 15%. The rates must be astronomical in UK to be that high!

Thanks for letting me know. I'm chuffed your Touchstone is so near but am a bit concerned/confused about the customs charge! Did all UK ATers have to pay an extra charge to the postoffice? I selected the cheapest delivery option - so possibly this would apply to me?

I have been pretty lucky up until now & have never been charged before. I intend to argue the toss when I get to the depot though, as the charge does seem extortionate.

Thats the good old UK for ya!

Oh my gosh, dear stargazer! That would be equal to over $30 USD! Yikes! That would shock me silly! That just doesn't seem right at all! Good luck at the depot tomorrow--i sincerely hope you can get them to lower the charges.

It's the same here as I also posted in another thread. Probably some of it is payment for having them write you the bill (that alone cost $40 here).
