Thank you so much Tabi. I can relate to the hanged man-definitely because I feel my life is in a limbo and I do want it to move forward after the difficult transition that I came from. So perhaps next year will be 13-Death; leaving behind the old life and moving into a new life.

I dont feel the hanged man is relatively positive card; perhaps it is just wait and see and watch and then moving forward when I feel it is comfortable.

After giving it some thought I feel my hermit like your's was indeed the divorce.
2005-9-Hermit-Divorce
2006-10-Wheel of Fortune-like your change in my thinking and also establishing and settling into a townhome. To me this felt positive
2007-11-Justice-Perhaps Weighing my options and choices in my life and seeing the direction that I would like it to go.
2008-12-Hanged Man-Wait and see.

I've always related the Hanged Man to Odin and his time hanging from a tree so this is why I believe it is going to be a painful year but hopefully it won't be. Or at least not as bad as this past summer has been...sheesh, ya know there is a reason why they say be careful for what you ask for. However in the long run I'm better for it (I hope!).

This is something to watch when you are doing a reading for yourself or for another since you're married. Sometimes it can mean a great deal other times nothing at all.

I'll use myself for an example:

In my Hermit year, I left my now ex-hubby. This is a time of intention but isolutaton

In my Wheel year, nothing really changed as before but I did go through a lot of personal beliefs and changes inside.

This starts my Justice year, and since it has been only about a month no telling what it is giong to happen. *sighs*

Not psychic but I read well.

If you want to connect with a card specific. Pull ou that card. Your Year is Temperance, use whatever deck but try to look at a couple of different Temperance cards and look at it picking up different things: images, smells, feelings, whatever this should be mostly what your year is going to be like. Being Temperance I always relate this to balance, could be something else entirely for you though.

2+8=10 <---that is the personality card because it falls in between the numbers 1-22, mostly cuz if you add numbers you can't get a zero.

1+0=1 <---is your soul card because it lands in between 0-9 which are prime numbers.

04+21+2008=2033

2+0+3+3=8 <---that is your year card until your birthday in 2009.

Not sure why or how they use the entire Major for Personality and only 0-9 for Soul cards but think that it has to do with prime numbers and numerology (okay that is spelled wrong but you get my point).

Obviously for each person this is going to change due to their own feelings and thoughts on a particular card. Yes to having to learn in this life time.

The Wheel card deals with changes and fate, you're old enough to know your own personality well. Think of which or both that you have difficulties with. It could be that you have problems with things not being in your control to begin with. Or you have a difficult time with changes in life. Really need to reflect as to what it means to you personally.

Some don't even think this is important and suggest not doing it at all. So it is up to you what you decided, I will tell you that my Soul/Personality card is the Lovers a card that I have a serious love/hate relationship with. It does fit me and my own difficult decisions with love and changes in relationships in my life. *shrugging* That is just one person's view though.

For me I use the birthday, so you are in your Hermit year until your birthday, after your birthday you start your Wheel year. However some people use the beginning and ending of the actual year for this, with your birthday being so close to it anyway it doesn't really matter which you use.

Now on the year cards you can look at each past year to get an idea of how each card reflected that year like I did in one of the post. Simply add the Month and day of your birthday with whatever year it was. IE: MM+DD+2006=???? then keep adding until you get a number between 1-22 (22 being the Fool)
