Horrible, horrible dream

(((Hugs))) I'm sorry to hear about the scary dream!

I know that you've said that your eye has been twitching and that's usually a sign of something coming. I also know it's been weighing on your mind a lot lately...do you think perhaps that's why you had the dream? Not in a premonition sort of way, but literally because you have been worried about it a lot and the worry just transferred to your dreams? The mind has strange ways of expressing itself, so maybe it was just its way of working through some of it...

I also had a very scary dream last night and woke up at 5:45 am PST.
Weird.

I have had many dreams about missile attacks over the years, and many dreams about the Bay Area being bombed, and having to hide underground. Luckily so far none of these have come true. (((angelegg))

It could be precognitive , but I really hope not . There has been some speculation that terrorists are interested in attacking schools .

On the other hand , when women start to make real progress in their lives , becoming more successful or more assertive or vocal , they will often have dreams of being attacked . Usually it takes the form of being chased by someone , but a terrorist attack wouldn't be too much a stretch from that in the present time . It represents fear of success , or anxiety about being punished somehow for doing well and possibly upsetting other people in our lives as a result . Come to think of it , the Islamic terrorists are also at the forefront of the keep women down movement , so there could be a connection .

Dark Inquisitor, I remember those kind of dreams from earlier years when I started to assert myself more. I guess I was in my forties. People chasing me and planes crashing, etc. I was so glad when that era of my life in the dream world was over. From my experience I believe you make a very valid point. Thank you.
