I wouldn't give much importance to the large green X. Without seeing your hand I believe these to be your fate line and a sun line crossing. These are more major lines on a hand, and don't connect with the small symbols, except that the emergence of the square possibly has something to do with your career. If I were to take a wild guess, without seeing your actual hand I might say the person causing you emotional issues is from your workplace, but the issues will not affect your work there. A sun line is always nice to see on a hand- not everyone has one and it is a sign of luck and extra vitality- nearly the same meaning as the sun card in tarot.
Best wishes to you...

Have you tried referring to any of the threads I wrote on palm reading?

Bershka, the book is Palm Reading, C. Collins gem (Discover the future in the palm of your hand)

www.collins.co. Can $10.95 ISBN 978-0-00-71880-2
I bought the very small size book in Chapters. I am sure it is for a beginner but simple enough for me to understand.

The line running from your thumb side is your lifeline. "It does not indicate how long you will live".

I think the line coming from the outside of your hand is your Heartline, the one with the square at the end. "protects against misfortune in realm dealt with by line"

The cross hatching shows just under your middle finger which is the Mount of Saturn...or very close.

It also says here "square on the Mount of Saturn ..will not suffer from financial worries". However I do not really think this applies as the square is much lower than the cross hatching. They only have grid (instead of the word cross hatching) here which says "Depression likely, morbid and introspective" (Sorry I am just using the book and may be incorrect so easily.)

Now I think the square in the center of your hand is on the Plain of Mars. The middle of your hand. The Plain of Mars reveals the energy levels of a person.
I cannot find much more about it.

I do not know what the lower fork off your Lifeline means. Since I am going cross eyed from trying to figure it out, I guess that's all for now.

Thank you so much memries! I will look into it

Any book is fine as long as it is suited for a beginner

From what I understand the box is a protection symbol.

(I need one on my life line, it's all fractured and broken--not good)

I've got The Palmistry Bible and found that it's quite good. Also in the UK this months (April 2008, Issue 3) Soul & Spirit has a great introduction to palmistry.
