A little Gothic beauty

This isn't a serious "ad" or anything. Just to say that I just uploaded the first of our Gothic fashion pictures to my blog and if you enjoy that style you may like to see this.

Aida, the woman modelling, is also a herbalist and working on some new ideas with me so lots of interesting things are happening.

Thank-you Sulis. That's exactly what we were aiming for. The make-up and hair took a couple of hours as in some ways that more subtle look takes more work - as I found out watching Eva at work. I am learning such a lot from doing these sessions, though I could never manage to do make-up like that myself.

She looks fantastic Karen. Its the 'look' is very subtle and she doesnt detract your eye away from the product, she adds to it - nice choice of model! ... and fantastic hair! (This year I have styled hair for 2 movies, and you're right, getting a 'natural look' can be more work than doing something very formal). The make-up is great!

Only one so far (well, in fact I did post another last night - but it's more of the bag). We have hundreds if not thousands of raw photos, but we need to go through them all, do colour adjustment and cleaning up and cropping etc - usual stuff. I expect we'll end up with around 12 really good photos. We're pleased with how these came out - and the whole team is so nice to work with.

Very nicely done, Karen. I love the atmosphere, and the turn up of the coat so that the red shirt and red lining are splashing out. Goes well with the lipstick!
