Karen, is the BG World-bag that you show on the webpage made with blue/black dupion? Seems to be a great combination with the colors of the World.

The new shop is so easy to navigate. I like the way the options for the flower oracle bags are displayed.

Karen, do you have any plans to offer antique/vintage fabric options for the flower oracle bags? I would love to have one like that.

Yes, definitely. I just need to find some way of photographing all the options.

We have been so overwhelmed with response on the antique fabrics that we plan (I know this sounds counter-intuitive, but bear with me) to limit certain fabrics to certain prints, rather than trying to offer any and every antique fabric with all prints.

So for example, I have some tea-coloured kimono (and it's just the most wonderful silk - very high quality indeed) which I'm only planning to offer on the Flower Oracle bags. I just need to work out what to put with what, get the samples made and then do the photography. Just!

It will actually let us offer more antique fabrics as it'll be more controllable and means we can make a small stack each time rather than just one or two.

That is good news! I'm not surprised that there has been so much enthusiasm for the antique fabrics, as they are so lovely and unique. It makes a lot of sense for you to preselect the fabrics that would be best suited to bags -- it would be too hard to guess from pictures on the web. I will be looking forward to seeing the new fabrics!

I tried the order tracking doodah (was curious that's all, see a button hit a button that's me) and it didn't love me.... it sent an e-mail but the e-mail link just showed an error on the site.

I'm really pleased with the new eco-bag options.... I almost saw an Alice Cards one for a moment there....

There WILL be Alice Eco totes. Basically, we have all sorts of plans with those - there's lots happening.

Thanks for the heads-up on the order tracking. It hasn't really been used yet as the shop has only been open for a week, but it sounds like it's time I paid it some attention and got it going. As I understand it, we need to put in tracking numbers and then it does its thing (which I suspect may be quite basic - international tracking is basic). It will at least let people know that their order has been sent and provide a postal tracking number.

Are you going to do some eco totes that aren't white? Please!

I love my BG world eco tote but it just gets so grimy so quickly. It would be better to have some in a different color - even off white - so the dirt wouldn't show so easily. At least for me.

Yes, it is. It's a really good colour with that bag. Actually, the teal is gorgeous with it too, but in a very different way. I am just in love with the teal silks we have right now - a bit of an obsession!

hmmm...trying to order an Alice tarot bag, and even though it says in a variety of prints, it seems that the only one i can order is the tea party.
While it gives me options for which color I would like, there is no option for the different prints. Is that because all of the others are sold out? I hope not...I would love one of Alice falling with the cards....
