I haven't been able to find the Vieville anywhere. There are so many decks that you think they will always be there so you don't buy them and then all of a sudden they aren't available. I'd better pick up the Soprafino while I can. --Myrrha |

In passing, Royal Fez Morrocan and Vieville -- they are still on sale in Japanese tarot webshops at regular price (about $30). Some accept foreign orders and shipping. __________________ "When you got it, flaunt it!" |

For me it is Folchi's older decks. The Carnivale. The Felicita. The Ferrara. Although I have seen the Ferrara here and there. I keep dreaming someday I will wander into a yard sale and there they will all be. In my alternate universe.

I got my Greenwood and am very happy with it I would like the art edition of the Alchemical and if I could find a copy of the Basque Mythical Tarot... I've never even seen a copy for sale & have no idea how much it would cost if I did. But I guess if I could have any deck, if the Tarot Fairy came down and let me have my pick, it would be the Wooden Kashmiri. Last edited by ilweran; 24-05-2008 at 19:25. |

Hee hee Tarot Fairy . . . I like it.If the Tarot Fairy granted me one wish, it'd be the Clothespin Tarot. Closely followed by the Stick Figure. \m/ Kat __________________ Aw, come on! Toilets are ALWAYS funny! ~ The Octopus |

From FaireMaiden's list: Omaggio http://www.tarotgarden.com/boutique...s/ertecards.gif Victoria Regina http://www.tarotgarden.com/database...reginacards.gif I have the Omaggio - I saw it available online for $325 - I don't remember what I paid, but it was well worth it. The Victoria Regina is on my wishlist - there was one for sale/trade here for $50, and I passed it up. That was probably a mistake. Whimsical http://www.tarotgarden.com/database...msicalcards.gif I traded that one away, I hope a_shikhs is enjoying it! As far as buying for investment, I bought 2 copies of the del Solleone Vachetta for investment years ago - it was highly sought after. Then LS and Meneghello came out with their versions of it, and now my red box Vachetta is not that sought after (at least, not on AT). So if you're buying for investment, beware! Things can change with one decision by a deck publisher! Rodney, a Greenwood for $12???!! Pray tell, what's the story behind that?

I have most of the others mentioned here..... Paid base prices for almost all mine; I got them when they came out, and am constantly horrified to realise what I could now sell them for - it's scary. __________________ ~ ~ I probably shouldn't be here. Amerigo Folchi's decks?
I've seen them come and go. I think the Citta de Ferarra one isn't even listed in the Stuart Kaplan Encyclopedia of Tarot... But his Ferarra Tarot--we as tarot fans and readers have been so fortunate to see so many re-runs of presses for beautiful older decks. I'd love to see that one reprinted. And have an easy-reading, affordable copy for every day. Right now am amazed how I like the Alchemical Renewed and Buckland Romany in reprints...I've heard those two had been going in the three-figures when out of print, for decks originally priced between $14-40 in kit editions.
