2 of pentacles - any thoughts?

I'm studying various Etteilla decks at the moment. This one is from the Grand Etteilla:

I don't know what the astrological glyphs mean. Any help there would be appreciated. I'm also keen to know what the card means to you and why you think there is a messenger in the bottom half.

Both are Mercury. However, they both have a dot at the centre, and a circle with centre dot is the glyph for Sun. Is there a LWB with deck?
Just wondering if the glyphs are supposed to be alchemical ones...

Edited: mercury = messenger (of the gods)

Thanks B. I thought they were Mercury, hence the messenger. LWB doesn't say anything about glyphs, just that the card means trouble.

What would that mean then?

Ok, just found some more info on the zodiac signs:

TWO OF COINS: MERCURY. Skills, writing and speaking, transactions and negotiations, mental acuity. Personifies: siblings, children; messengers and agents. (Source: http://villarevak.org/astro/app_b.html)

I also see a rift that needs to be closed/bridged. A heated debate so to speak.

Brighteye,

Astrologically Mercury is 'transmission'. So If you apply that to whatever the reading is about, it covers almost every aspect of life & events. i.e: Blood is transmitted through the veins, information is transmitted, even a person is being 'transmitted' if travelling, because they're in transit.

That being said, a transmission can be negative or positive or just run-of-mill...
