That's the question, 7 of cups is also about daydreaming
so when i ask how much does he care? and what he thinks about me? i get this card
is it all just an option that he can't decide to choose or does this have anything to do with me being far for so long that i became a fantasy?

Well, I have seen the card signifying many options available but in this case why not enjoy the fact that he is daydreaming about you? I'd certainly be happy to know such a thing.

These are two different questions, don't you think?

7 of C for "how much does he care?": He himself does not know.

7 of C for What does he think about you?: He thinks you are hard to figure out, he does not know what is fact and what is fantasy in how he perceives you.

yeah but this is a card that is a lot about thinking so this oes to whatever is in his head
one thing i can say is that he doesn't think i'm hard to figure out at all, basically he thinks he knows me as well as i know myself or better
we are much alike he has nothing to figure out here lol at least i know he thinks like that
