“The Watkins Tarot Handbook” by Naomi Ozaniec made it home with me the other day. (originally published as “The Element Tarot Handbook” and as “Initiation into The Tarot” 2002)
Impulse buy? Yes! ..... but I have come to the realization that my new ability to spout endless meanings for each card is meaningless when I try to “read.” Seems I now just sit and block any intuitive reactions with all this overwhelming new knowledge and I need a way to “inform the intellect, awaken intuition and precipitate insight.” as this book promises!
I have read the book and am hopeful that the exercises presented will help me bridge this gap.
Was wondering if anyone else has read this book, gone through the exercises, and found it helpful?
Am I on the right road?
