Based on my birthday, what cards would represent me?

Hello,

I was wondering if there is a card that would represent me based on my birthday. A long time ago, someone who was both into tarot and astrology said that according to some book they had the Lovers card was associated with my birthday. What do you think?

My birthday is September 28, 1976.

If the Lovers card had to do with passion, maybe the card would represent me well. One of my email handles is patior_vita, which in Latin (should) mean passion for life.

Please let me know if there is more information needed.

I presume you mean Tarot card correspondences - if so there's no card that will correspond directly to your birthday but there are cards which arguably correspond to your Sun Sign.

The Golden Dawn would attribute Libra, with Justice. You'll find a number of threads in the Tarot forums that look at Astrological Correspondences but this card is the one most often quoted.

Some decks such as the Thoth, make (indirect) use of the decanates - the three ten degree segments that make up a sign. You were born in the first decanate of Libra which is ruled by the Moon (assuming the Ptolemaic system), so look for a card that represents Moon in Libra - in the Thoth deck this would be the two of Swords

I don't think that much weight should be placed on such 'correspondences' - there may be some common ideas in Astrology and Tarot but I think stretching 'similarity' into 'correspondence' is pushing things somewhat. I'd place more emphasis on your birthchart and perhaps one or two features of it, rather than trying to say you're the two of Swords (along with everyone born in the first third of Libra). :)

actually what i need, is

you know that little information at the beginning of your natal chart,

where it says ,
sun in sign
moon in sign,
and so forth

sun in house,
moon in house

aspects,
of the sun square mars,

i am still a novice and can't read a straight blurry chart like that , ( it is not well defined, )

and the second grid was too much information .

the basic natal chart does that i think on the first page,

Using Angeles Arrien's Life Time cards model your personality and soul card is, indeed, Lovers. Your year card is Chariot.

People give the Lovers image different astrological assignations. Irene Gad in Tarot and Individuation makes it a Taurus. She suggests that Taurus contains the duality of earth and spirit and, furthermore, that it represents the descent of spirit to earth.

It will be interesting tosee what Holmes comes up with.
