Cards repeating across relationship spreads!

Across multiple relationship spreads I keep getting the same cards in relation to a particular person. They are:

King of Wands
8 of wands
7 of swords

Has anyone got any thoughts on these cards in the context of a relationship?

I think the King of Wands is the guy I am thinking of. 8 of wands implies lots of energy and ideas, infatuation, lots of ideas but no conclusion. 7 of swords implies sneaking around, dishonesty.

Hmm, I would guess the meanings of the cards would depend on the circumstances, would you agree?

For example, 7 of Swords -- is anyone in fact sneaking around? If not, that card can mean other things (e.g., some see a foreigner, some see cleverness, etc.)
