I was googling runes and this came up, another original handcrafts idea from the Llewellyn website:

No, I am not going to make them - I am just getting to know my rune stones and I think I will like them better than crocheted ones.
But I remembered the thread about crocheted bags, and I thought maybe someone would like to make them.
Also, if you want to carry runes around with you they may come in handy, they hardly weigh a thing and it does not sound like you are carrying a bag of marbles with you.
