Dreams of Stones

Kosjitov

I had a dream about being in a metaphysical shop one night. I was handling various stones, but the person next to me was clueless and began handling blue goldstone. I however had this nice shiny (polished) grey stone that sparkled.

What are the properties of blue goldstone? Are there other varieties of "goldstone"? What real life equivalent could this shiny polished grey stone be? It had flecks, and wasn't all just one color (not sure if it had banding).

[Putting this here, because I'm interested in the properties of the stones, and possible equivalents for the grey stone, rather than the possible divinatory nature of the dream.]

I did some research and looked over labradorite, hematite... but I think the apache gold is actually closer to what I saw- the marbling on it just seems to stick in my brain. Thanks for the reply :)

Hmm, since you mention marbling, here are some more stones that I could think of. I hope it helps you in giving a positive identification to your dream stone.

If it is grey with gold inclusion = apache gold
If it is black with gold inclusion = healer gold

If it is black with white inclusion = Blizzard Stone/Gabbro

If it is grey with blue/green inclusion = Galaxyite

The blizzard stone and the apache's gold are closest. The other two that you posted (while very very lovely!) are too dark/black for what I saw :) It really had more grey to it. So nifty, I'm glad I asked because I had a flashback to the dream and saw the marbling.
