Fool's Journey (poem)

Stone_of_Love

Hello everyone.
Another sleepless night, so I decided to type up a little poem about the Fool and his quest. I am not very good at poetry, but I've decided to try my hand at it. Please let me know what you think of it, and if there are any parts or words you think would be better.

The Fool on his mighty quest,
Set fourth to learn at his behest.
The Magician with his mighty spells,
taught him how to think so well.
The Priestess with her wit so sharp,
showed him not to fear the dark.
The Empress with a heart so dear,
taught him love to keep so near.
The Emperor on his throne of gold,
taught him laws he must uphold.
The Hierophant, a church so bright,
made him see the Holy Light.
The Lovers gave him love so true,
so strong it was to carry through.
The Chariot took him on his way,
to the top, to win the day.
Strength then came and worked it's charm,
to empower him through pain and harm.
The Hermit showed him how to find,
the answers deep within his mind.
The Wheel of Fortune once is rolled,
a difficult path the Fool then strolled.
Justice is there, and must be served,
a punishment for him reserved,
The Hanged Man showed him what he needed to know,
that sometimes it's best, just to let it go.
Death then came, for all was lost,
sometimes you lose, no matter the cost.
Temperance taught him to balance his mind,
and inner-peace the Fool would find.
The Devil he met, and put him in chains,
the Fool was blind, to his master and pains.
The Tower then crumbled, his world fell apart,
the Fool must suffer a broken heart.
The Star was shining, his heart becomes warm,
he welcomes this calm, after the storm.
But the Moon soon then rises, and leads him astray,
the illusions it cast, sent him out of his way.
He then meets the Sun, who sets him aright,
the Fool finds his path again, walking in light.
Then Judgement arises, the Fool looks back,
absolved of his sins, his crimes, and his past.
The World is there, for the Fool to find,
his long road now ended, at least, in his mind.
