Has anyone ever heard of Phoenix Stone?

Well, that's a totally new one for me. I ran across an eBay listing for a pendant made of Phoenix Stone.

It's inexpensive, so I've bid on it. In the photograph, the stone in the pendant looks like Rhodonite to me, but hey. For $1 and free shipping, I'm more than willing to make the investment.

Additional searches have turned up dark green banded stones and pink-with-black-inclusions stones described as "Phoenix Stone".

I also, in my roundabout way of googling, have discovered that Fenghuang is the bird in Chinese mythology that's also known as the Chinese Phoenix. So I am wondering if this stone has any connection to that creature.

Either way... phoenixes are one of the creatures I collect, so I am surprised that it took me THIS long into crystal collecting to hear about such a thing as "Phoenix Stone". I strongly suspect it's got a wholly different scientific name, but for once, I'm coming up empty when I search.

Has anyone else ever heard of it?
