Hierophant & 8 Wands as energy

I questioned what the current energy was of one person towards another.

Hierophant & 8 Wands came out in this position (8 Wands wasn't a clarifier, I pulled 2 cards for this position).

I'm really stumped. I'd have been OK with one or the other, but as I combo, can't currently wrap my brain around any good interps.

Any ways of looking at this?

The engery is powerful, this person sees the engergy as being that of traditional thoughts and actions. Example: no sex or children before marriage, perhaps very religious, not open minded, but set in the ways of their culture.
