hello everyone. my name is iowan and i've just joined the forum, but i've known of Aeclectic Tarot for years.
after 8 years i've finally finished my tarot deck. my major arcana is as follows:
0 Initiate - Fool
1 Augur - Magician
2 Oracle - High Priestess
3 Nurturer - Empress
4 Guardian - Emperor
5 Djeli - Hierophant
6 Devotion - Lovers
7 Pride - Chariot
8 Spirit - Strength
9 Surrender - Hanged Man
10 Universal Fortune - Wheel of Fortune
11 Onus - Justice
12 Messenger - Hermit
13 Transition - Death
14 Harmony - Temperance
15 Adversity - Devil
16 Revelation - Tower
17 Hope - Star
18 Mind’s Eye - Moon
19 Enlightenment - Sun
20 Judgement - Judgement
21 Fulfillment - World

my minor arcana suits are:
Staves (Wands)
Gourds (Cups)
Spears (Swords)
Cowries (Coins/Pentacles)

for my court cards, i have:
Rhythm (instead of page/princess)
GateKeeper (instead of knight)
Counsel (instead of queen)
Wellspring (instead of king)

i'm in the process of putting my companion booklet together. whew! this is a lot of work, but worth it!

Hello Iowan,

Your tarot deck is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I LOVE it!!! As a dark skinned woman I too have wanted a deck that identified completely with. I love the multicultural decks that I own as well, but I look forward (hopefully) to working with yours. Will you self-publish or await a publisher to take it on? Either way you will have at the very least someone who will be thrilled and honored to work with it!!!!

to naneki: thanks bunches, i really appreciate it.
as far as publishing or self publishing, that's what my husband and i are trying to figure out now. i'm ready through some of the past posts in this forum to see what others have done to get their decks out into the world so that i can get a better idea of what to do.
