Need spread advise

Here's the situation: X is having trouble passing tests in his Social Studies class. But it appears that ALL of the students in the class are having trouble and some mothers believe it is the teacher's technique that is responsible.

Is there a spread to clarity the situation between this teacher's learning techniques and X's inability to pass her tests
