I found a site called "learningtarot.com." Out of all the books I have recently read, I like the interpretations of the cards on this site the best. The interpretations are clear, consistent, and many faceted. They incorporate traditonal meanings and the Thoth interpretations, which I personally find to be deep, interesting, and psycologically complex. Seems like a happy medium. It's the first thing I've come across that seems to totally works for me. I'm lovin' it! See what you think.

There's an excellent beginner's guide in one of the tabs at the top of this forum. I think it's written by thirteen, but it's better than the first three books I read on the topic. It's concise, simple and free!

You really couldn't ask for a better jumping-off point.
