newbie that needs help phrasing question.

i would like to do a reading regarding my dad. but i need help phrasing the questions i want to ask. i will obviously do more than one spread, over time. since i have more than one question. him and i aren't close, so he won't be around when i do this reading. but, the questions i want to ask are...

- is he truely happy with his life now?
- how will he react to my pregnancy?
- what was his past like?

then i would also like to do a general reading on him.

if any of you would like to give me some suggestions on how to phrase these questions, it would be very helpful. thanks

I think you're definitely on the right track in that you realize you will have to do separate readings to get clearer answers. As for phrasing, I would personally do something like this:

1. How can I better understand my dad's life right now?

2. What can I do to be prepared for my dad's reaction to my pregnancy? OR you could just ask what his likely response will be.

3. What do I need to know about my father's past and how it affects him now?

Once again, that's just how I would phrase them. I prefer to keep the focus on myself rather than other people in terms of readings, because I don't want to feel like I'm prying or doing something I haven't been invited to do.
