My thoughts on The Star!!
The first thing I notice when looking at this card is the star itself which predominates everything else and is brightly coloured yellow. A graceful ballerina poises on point in a woodland pond, in a delicate balance. From her dress little stars dangle all around and small stars encircle the large star in the night sky. In each hand she holds a pitcher of water; one flowing down into the pond and the other flowing unto the ground, keeping her balance and harmony. A confident and hopeful face shows her tranquility of mind while she performs. A lovely bird (nightingale?) flys towards her carrying a heart as a token of "peace and love." (LWB) A frog rests on a lily pad, representing good luck, much like the Feng Shui tradition of a money-frog. Flowers surround the pond and a few trees rise up, with our friend, the snail, climbing the right one! The Star is a very serene card representing all that is tranquil, hopeful, balanced, peaceful and in perfect harmony.
